WASHINGTON, D.C., Dec. 05, 2019 — Thycotic, provider of privileged access management (PAM) solutions to 10,000 organizations worldwide, including 25 percent of the Fortune 100, today announced that it has been named the platinum winner for the Best IT Privileged Management from the American Security Today Awards. This is the second consecutive year that Thycotic’s flagship solution, Secret Server, has been honored with an “ASTOR” from this esteemed awards program.

Secret Server continues to be a highly recognized cybersecurity resource that empowers organizations to securely monitor, manage and defend critical identity accounts — on-premises and in the cloud. It has repeatedly been honored as the PAM market’s top solution by several recognition programs, most recently including, the Best in Biz Awards, Cyber Defense Magazine Global Awards and a Golden Bridge Awards

“We are honored to be awarded once again by American Security Today for our forward-thinking development team and cutting-edge Secret Server solution,” said James Legg, President and CEO at Thycotic. “This recognition stems from our continued commitment to provide our customers with the most advanced and adaptable solution resource on the PAM market.”

The Annual ‘ASTORS’ Awards is a prestigious recognition program that highlights the top security solutions on or entering the market today. It is specifically designed to honor distinguished government and vendor solutions that deliver enhanced value, benefit and intelligence to end-users in a variety of government, homeland security and public safety vertical markets.

“‘ASTORS’ nominations are evaluated on their technical innovation, interoperability, specific impact within the category, overall impact to the industry, relatability to other industry technologies, and application feasibility outside of the industry,” said Tammy Waitt, co-founder and editorial director of American Security Today.
