WASHINGTON, D.C., August 13, 2019 — Thycotic, a provider of privileged access management (PAM) solutions to 10,000 organizations worldwide, including 20 percent of the Fortune 1000, today announced that CEO James Legg has been named one of the Top 50 SaaS CEOs by The Software Report. This is the third annual Top 50 SaaS CEO awards program from The Software Report, a comprehensive source for market research and insights, business news, investment activity and corporate actions related to the software sector.

Legg was honored for his effective leadership in driving Thycotic to its continuously rising success. He is a proven software industry veteran, having flourished in the space for more than 25 years. After joining Thycotic in 2015, Legg has led the company to grow revenues 3x faster than the Privileged Access Management Market serving over 10,000 customers worldwide. Under Legg’s leadership, Thycotic has grown its number of employees from 40 to 400. Legg has also piloted Thycotic’s industry-leading progress in the cloud sector, making the company the leader in cloud-based PAM.

“I’m honored to receive this recognition for our company’s overall leadership and accomplishments in the SaaS market,” Legg said. “We see this distinction as a result of our commitment to customer success, technological innovation and delivering the industry’s premier PAM solutions.”

This award follows recognition from Network Products Guide, which announced that Legg earned the “Gold Winner” for Achievement in Management for his leadership in the cybersecurity space.
