Sneak Peek! New Secret Server user interface coming in version 8.6.
One more reason to follow our blog – you get to see product features before they are released! Our next release is coming later this month, and it includes a big change: a brand new UI that we think you’re going to love.
If you’re lucky to be at Microsoft TechEd in Houston this week, you are at an even greater advantage. We will have live demos of the new Secret Server UI at booth #609.
Secret Server customers already know the application is built to be easy to use and navigate with its customizable Dashboard and file system structure similar to Windows, making it understandable even for non-IT users. But in Secret Server v8.6 it gets even better with a new look and feel and an entirely new end-user dashboard.
Here’s a look and the dashboard refresh. As you can see, it’s the same dashboard you use daily.
In the 8.6 release, you also get new themes.
We’ve done something extra special for end-users in this release. They now have the option of using their own, Basic dashboard. This view is a simplified option to the original Dashboard, and is called the Basic view in the application.
What do you think of the new user interface? Let us know and vote for your favorite in our community forum.
At TechEd this week? Visit booth #609 for a hands on demo of the new look.
