Secret Assistant is a new component of Secret Server that:

Retrieves your web passwords and fills in login information for website accounts.

Works without having Secret Server open in your web browser.

Resides in your system tray when activated.

Is a simple executable file to download (no complicated install).
Future of Secret Assistant

Secret Assistant's functionality will continue to grow in upcoming versions to include offline access to secrets. With offline caching for secrets, users will be able to access and use secrets without needing an internet connection.
- One of the following operating systems:
Windows XP Home edition
;Windows XP Professional edition
;Windows Vista (all versions)
;Windows 2000
;Windows 2003
- You must have Secret Server (version 3.1.000003 or later) to use Secret Assistant
- Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or 7 (Firefox support coming soon)

The Domain text box will now work properly when users enter ‘Local’.
