The Role Based Access Control (RBAC) feature gives you complete control over who has access to different features within Group Management Server.
Users are assigned one or more roles. Each role grants the user access to specified capabilities within the software, but not to others. This makes it easy for IT administrators to assign responsibilities to the appropriate users.
The software comes with default Roles which can be customized to suit your needs:
- Administrator: This role can configure all system options, set Group security policies and assign Group Owners.
- User: This role may view Groups and other Group members, join and leave Groups, and request removal or request access to Groups.
- Auditor: This role enables internal or external auditors to view reports and audit records.
